Inspiring Fashion Illustrators

Today One Style at a Time wants to discuss two "I's": Illustration and Inspiration.  From previous posts you will notice that this blog has great admiration for art so it's no surprise when Fashion and Artists come together it's the best of both worlds. For me personally, Fashion Illustration has always been a strong influence. This post in particular is meant to spotlight a few well known illustrators including old and new favorites.

David Downton - is one of the worlds most sought after and famous Fashion Artist/Illustrators. He has worked on drawings for Paris Haute Couture, has worked with Vogue, Dior, Tiffany & Co & Bloomingdale's to just name a few. This English born artist with an extensive archive has worked on drawings for some of the most beautiful and famous women such as Elizabeth Taylor, Paloma Picasso, Dita Von Teese and many others.

Ruben Toledo- This Cuban born Fashion Illustrator, sculptor and painter is not only married to the famous Fashion Designer Isabel Toledo but is also a well respected artist all on his own. He has worked closely with Nordstrom on national campaigns, worked with many fashion magazines and has provided illustrations for Nina Garcia's Style guide books.

Hayden Williams - This young Illustrator/Designer from London has had a passion for his craft of drawing from a very young age, 3 years old to be exact. I was instantly attracted to his work when I found him on Pinterest. He is taking the social media by storm. His feminine and modern pieces include some famous faces like Anna Wintour, SJP from Sex and the City, The Olsen Sisters, Barbie and Rihanna who used his drawing as her twitter avatar at one point. He can be found on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.

Francois Berthoud -  Is a Swiss artist who has coveted the world of graphic design, cartoons and Fashion Illustration. He has done some amazing work with Vanity Fair and many other leading fashion publications and is admired for his sophistication, detail and with a strong sense of fine art and sensuality.
