We last spoke about Color Trends for Fall, this time it's about a trend you will not be able to escape... Spikes and Studs! They made a strong presence during Spring and Summer and will continue this upcoming season. Top Runway favorites like Burberry Prorsum and Marc Jacobs among others presented accessories that included leather, animal skins with a mix of spikes and studs.
Now, we may not all be as edgy as say Rihanna or Lady Gaga, but that doesn't mean this trend doesn't work for you. Shoes, handbags, jewelry and all accessories have touches of studs and/or spikes so you have many choices on how to play with your look. You can still maintain a girly, chic and feminine style but just add a touch of this trend to enhance your basics. Remember that Fashion has a side of fantasy so let your imagination have a little fun! So gals are you ready to bring a little rocker edge to your look this Fall?

You're right Maria, they can be done great in small increments (shoe, clutch etc) I love those gloves and umbrella. Also squealing over those highly adorned heels with the gold ankle wrap! OMG'd they are gorgeous! HAHAHAHA Have an amazing weekend!

Me gusta mucho la ropa para invierno, aunque reconozco que los clavos y tachuelas de esta temporada no me gustan, ya que me recuerdan a la moda sadomaso, sin embargo, los colores me encantan. Estupendas fotos María!!!

LOVE the gloves, how stunning are they? And the flats in the last photo are lovely too and not too scary for people that shy away from studs and spikes. I certainly would wear these embellishments when they're used as smaller details such as a rim of a clutch or on the flats ... but if I came upon those gloves, I don't know if I could resist!!
