NYFW: FALL 2015 PAMELLA ROLAND’S PARIS IN THE 70S INSPIRATION

PSTheWhat can you     Pamella Roland is synonymous with glamour and A-list celebrities best dressed red carpets and more, but for Fall 2015 this world renown designer took things a bit in a different direction. That is what a visionary does, think outside of the box and breaks out of the expected. The buzz before the show began and was at an all time high as everyone hustled to get to their seats anticipating the show. It was a full house of course. Once the lights dimmed and the music began it was show time!

The models strutted down the runway in Pamella’s fall designs which were inspired by bohemian Paris in the 1970s. This collection had separates as well as elegant evening wear and ended in a jaw dropping ivory bridal gown and feathered jacket. The fabrics included jacquard tweeds, striped crepe and bold oversized floral  prints. The palette was earthy and included deep navy, plums olive and camel. An autumn dream for any chic lady. This collection was about details and wearable sophistication. Pamella gave women exactly what they want for next Fall. We leave you with images from this fantastic show.

This concludes our New York Fashion Week coverage. It was a busy week full of great collections and a bit of nostalgia. Farewell to Lincoln Center as this is the last time the tents stand tall to host this grand event. NYFW will have a new home in September and it will be interesting where it will be held.
