About Me

Fashionista622: Hello Fashionistas and Welcome to One Style at a Time! My name is Maria and I’m a native New Yorker. I love my city, the diversity of cultures and since it is the fashion capital of the world, its chic sense of style! I adore fashion and art and started a blog to share my interests with others who appreciate creativity and beautiful things. For me Fashion is a state of mind and sense of individuality. I find inspiration by reading fashion books, magazines, reading my favorite blogs and visiting museums. I'm also inspired by master designers like my fellow Latino and legend, Oscar de la Renta. I love his classic elegance and attention to detail. I also enjoy the work by Diane Von Furstenberg, her iconic wrap dress, and her incorporation of prints and patterns, perfecting “hippie chic”. Also, I wouldn’t be a true fan of fashion if I didn’t mention Coco Chanel. She was an innovator in her field and I am thankful for the classic "Little Black Dress".
